Hello everyone, my name is Joanne Eldred, I have had four children here at our school and I’m the chairperson of our ‘Friends of St Joseph’s’ group. Alongside our vice chair, Katie Paterson, our secretary Helen Johnson and treasurer Mrs Lloyd we are a small group who are extending an invitation to all parents, grandparents and carers to join us this new school year. You can be involved as much or as little as you like, many hands make light work and all types of input is greatly appreciated.
Our main objective is to raise much needed funds to support our school and pupils in their everyday school life. We do this by holding fun events and providing memorable experiences, in and out of school that we can all enjoy. 
Over the years we have funded many events and provided equipment including on the infant playground, iPads, cinema visits, classroom materials, prizes for competitions, Christmas and Easter chocolates, whole school metro travel pass, Yr 6 leavers hoodies to name a few!
Our top priority this year is to provide play equipment for outdoor areas, so that we have playgrounds to be proud of!
We can’t do this without your continued support, for which we are extremely grateful. Let’s work together combining families, staff and our community for another successful year.
