Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. Ofsted regulate and inspect schools and colleges to seek improvement in the service. They carry out large number of inspections and regulatory visits in England and publish their finding on their website.
Our most recent Ofsted was an ungraded inspection in October 2023.
The inspection report identified that St Joseph’s continues to be a good school.
The school’s grading is ‘Good’, a benchmark that is high under the current Ofsted framework. We are very pleased that the hard work undertaken by all in the school community has been recognised, including the systems in place, the reflective and driven nature of staff/governors, the commitment of the pupils and the fantastic relationship we have with parents.
The report itself highlights the many elements of good provision at St Joseph’s, as well as identifying many exceptional areas.
