Goodbye Year Six

What a busy week we have had!

Last Wednesday Father Adrian celebrated our Leavers’ Mass and we  were joined by lots of parents, carers and parishioners to say thank you for the seven wonderful years Year Six have enjoyed in our school.

On Tuesday Mayor Smith and Mrs Gibson, our chair of Governors, were special guests when our leavers treated us to a marvellous performance of ‘Let Loose’, a play about a school trip to the fictitious Slippery Slopes Outdoor Education Centre. Mrs Seagrove reassured us all that the outdoor centre we attend is the complete opposite to Slippery Slopes. Phew!

Mayor Smith and Mrs Gibson presented dictionaries to our leavers at the end of the performance. Then the audience watched  a super PhotoStory created by Dylan,Emily, Lucy and Rohan.

Finally, yesterday we had our ‘Gold Book Assembly’ where we celebrate good work, attendance, sporting achievements, musical talents and behaviour with the presentation of certificates and trophies.

Good luck children in your new schools and we hope everyone enjoys a super summer break.
